Find and book airport parking, and check the dates before paying

Perplexity CometHands-on review

A TechCrunch reporter asked Comet's assistant to find well-reviewed long-term parking at San Francisco airport and book a spot. It found options but entered the wrong dates and still pushed toward checkout.

What they did

The reporter set a review and daily price limit, picked one of the suggested lots and asked Comet to book it for his travel dates. The agent navigated the parking site, entered dates and some of his details, then asked him to review and check out.

What happened

The reporter says Comet had entered completely wrong dates, then claimed his dates were booked and still wanted him to check out. Told the dates were fixed, it tried another lot and hit the same problem.

Keep in mind

This is a failure case from launch week in mid 2025, and the reporter also had to grant broad access to his Google account. Always check dates and totals yourself before paying.

Try it with your agent

Find long-term parking near <airport> for <drop-off date and time> to <pick-up date and time>, with good reviews and within <your daily budget>. Show me three options. If I pick one, fill in the booking but read back the exact dates, times and total before checkout. If my dates are not available, tell me and stop.

Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
