What they did
With a friend's help he deployed OpenClaw locally and connected it to his system calendar. He sent one chat instruction to add an event with a time and place, then asked for a recurring reminder for his wife's birthday based on the lunar calendar without saying how many years. He checked the calendar afterwards to confirm both.
What happened
The poster says the event appeared within seconds with the right time and place, and the birthday was converted from the lunar date and scheduled for every year from 2026 to 2040, with an extra reminder three days before.
Keep in mind
These are single, self-checked tests in an article that also promotes the author's workshop, and setup needed a friend's help. Another test in the same piece hit a security prompt that needed manual approval.
Try it with your agent
Add an event to my calendar: <event name> on <date> at <time> at <location>. Also create a yearly reminder for <person>'s birthday on <lunar date> in the lunar calendar, convert it to the correct solar date each year for the next <number> years, and add a reminder <number> days before. Tell me which dates you created so I can check them.
Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
