What they did

He signs in to the expense SaaS tool himself and hands the logged-in tab to Claude. Claude looks at each receipt image, finds the matching meeting on his calendar, and fills in date, amount, category and business purpose. He keeps it to reversible steps after login and also uses it for read-only lookups in internal admin panels.

What happened

The poster lists expense entry among the tasks that reliably work and says enough of his browser work now goes to Claude by default that he keeps using it. He gives no time or accuracy figures.

Keep in mind

He never lets it enter credentials, touch banking sites or take irreversible actions like submitting or confirming payments. The post does not say whether he lets it submit the reports.

Try it with your agent

I am signed in to <your expense tool> in this tab. For each receipt image in <your receipts folder>, find the matching event on my calendar for <date range>, then create a draft expense line with date, amount, category from <your category list> and a one-line business purpose. Do not submit anything. Give me a list of receipts you could not match.

Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
