Answer reporting requests and watch ad spend every morning

Grok BotVendor case study

xAI's paid-media lead says one bot catches "can you pull" requests in Slack and drafts answers from the data warehouse, and another checks spend and conversions on every channel each morning, alerting only when something is off, such as a tag that stopped firing. Budget between audiences and pulling a tired ad stay with people.

What they did

xAI's paid-media lead describes using a set of bots to stand up the ad program for Grok Bot's own launch: demand research, a draft budget mix from a target acquisition cost, campaign structure, first-draft copy, conversion tracking and a reporting sheet. After launch, a bot called Tally watches Slack for "can you pull" requests and drafts answers from the data warehouse, and another checks spend pacing and conversions on every channel each morning.

What happened

The author says the morning check stays silent when things look normal and pings only when something is off, for example a channel spending double its daily budget overnight or conversions dropping to zero because a tag stopped firing. Reporting asks get answered while they are in meetings.

Keep in mind

Splitting budget between audiences and deciding when to pull a tired ad stay with people, and budget changes need explicit approval. This is the vendor's own team on the vendor's site, with no performance figures.

Try it with your agent

Every morning at <time>, check yesterday's spend and conversions for each channel in <your ad accounts> against <your monthly budget goal> and the last seven days. Stay quiet if everything is within range; if a channel is overspending, underspending, or conversions drop sharply, message me in <chat channel> with the numbers and a likely cause. Do not change budgets or pause ads yourself.

Replace the <angle brackets> with your own details.
